Pop in session Tuesday 22nd October 2019
What a great time we all had on Tuesday.
Lots of Craft, fun, laughter Music and dancing, and yes the parachute came out
I think if we hadn't of brought it out we would have had a sit down strike.
We finished off with a delicious tea.
Thank you to all who came and made it such a success and thanks to all the helpers
Our Pastor Marius made an owl however I've no photo of the finished product, I think it must have flown the coop!
Children at Bow CC
JAM, our ‘Jesus And Me’ group is available for children on Sunday mornings.
Children of any age are welcome although it is most suited to children up the age of eleven. There is usually a mix of games and craft based around a Bible story or topic. Children or young people with additional needs are also very welcome and we are happy to talk with parents about what changes or support may be needed in JAM (or in the main church) to help their child or young person to be included.
For the first part of the Sunday service, the whole church family is in together.
We want children to enjoy this part of the service so, for those that don’t like sitting and listening, there are toys, books and colouring available. There are also some child-friendly percussion instruments to help them join in with the worship songs.
We are not running any regular mid-week activities for children or young people at the moment. However, there are family-friendly events for them to be part of plus occasional after-school or school holiday activity sessions.
Missing Sheep Nativity Trail
Missing Sheep Nativity Trail started off our Christmas celebrations.
One of the Shepherds in Bow had lost his sheep so we invited the children to follow a trail around the village to find his sheep.
The trail ended with the children doing a fantastic job in finding the sheep and bringing them back into the crib.
Then the children came and enjoyed Christmas crafts,
games, music and a video
The highlight was the Children following the Christmas story,
dressing up as Mary, Joseph and the shepherds.
This was followed by a delicious spread.
Thank you to all the parents, helpers the scene makers, the cooks and the techno people and most of all the children who throughout 2018 enjoyed all of our pop up sessions.
